The Random Things:

1) I haven't watched any anime in the last few months, and I feel like I've been neglecting my otaku-ness.

2) I have read more quality, well-written, and effective romances in fanfiction then I have managed to ever find on the bookshelves. It's kind of amazing. But also rather sad.

3) I don't know what to do with my life right now, or where to go.

4) "SO less-effective" - frequent phrase of mine.

5) I bought :iconpuimun: Stephanie Pui-Mun Law's watercolor tutorial book, and it is gorgeous (and signed!) and I love it.

6) I'm currently Twilight-movie obsessed and feel like a pathetic stalker, but I still very much love and appreciate the fabulous ladies of the Twilight Moms and all the adorable teens who let me stalk through them. XD

7) I love to go through people's favorites. I find the awesomest new artists that way. And I love going through fanart-heavy fav galleries, cause I love fanart too, and that way I know I haven't missed anything new and fabulous in my fandoms.

8) I wink randomly at people. Really.

9) I have a tendency to look OVER my glasses like an old grandma librarian.

10) My car really needs washing right now. When's it going to rain again? I'm so lazy.

I just got back from a huge trip, and am tempted to do this when I'm less exhausted. :) Don't feel obliged to indulge your otaku-ness unless you really want to/found something worth obsessing over. :3

Hey! Great meme & I got to see if I can buy Stephanie Pun-Mun Law's watercolor tutorial book to help me improve my watercolor skills. It's going to take me a while to BRUSH up on my watercolor painting skills. ;p :hug:

Hah, true. And I'm Twilight obsessing atm. But it's just so, American, yahknow? ;P lol.

I've gotta get back on my own stuff again. So easily distracted am I. :)

The trip was awesome. Still fighting the tired, but getting better.

:B I'm happily person-obsessing these days myself.. no time/energy for fandoms anymore.. <3
And there's nothing wrong with enjoying home-grown goodness! You know that well enough. ;)

And yesh, you needs to get back on your own original work again. Originality is so much better than amusing fanfodder~~~~

My car is dirty too. Whenever I wash it, within four days it gets rained on and the wax job gets ruined. Waterspots all over the paint and mud in the wheel-wells. Sigh.

And I always go through people's Faves. It says so much about them to see what they've chosen to Fave. Guys who seem pretty cool can turn out to be shallow, girls who seem kinda airheaded can turn out to be appreciators of very inspirational stuff, and so on...
